Stolen Dogs

A frighteningly large number of dogs are stolen every year in the UK. There are a number of things you can do to help prevent your precious pups being stolen. Some tips include the following; don’t leave dogs tied up outside shops or in your car, even for a short while. Make sure your dog’s microchip details are up to date at all times. Make sure your garden is secure and try and avoid leaving your dogs outside unattended. Take lots of photographs of your dog, including with yourself to help prove ownership if needed.

Whilst out walking be wary of strangers asking lots of questions about your dog and try to vary your routes and walk times.
