Becky is absolutely amazing at what she does. We have a 5 month old golden retreiver who needs to learn to be around other dogs. With lockdown we have been struggling to meet other dogs and owners, but we were advised to try Contented Dogs.

 

Becky came to meet Ethel at home and straight away was so friendly and took the time to gently introduce herself to Ethel. By the time the meeting was finished, Ethel was trying to leave with Becky!

She has only gone on an adventure twice so far, but what a difference it has made. Ethel is so happy when she comes home, and sleeps for the rest of the day. I love how we get to see photos and little video clips of what they have done. It's like when your children start school and you are wondering what they have been doing.

Everything about Becky and her business is wonderful. I can’t praise her highly enough, and I know Ethel already loves her.

Becky and Ruth are fantastic and I cannot recommend them highly enough! You can see how much they enjoy what they do and love all the dogs, our dog loves them! No matter what the weather they are always happy to see our dog and provide an outstanding service

 

They go above and beyond. They do not just provide a walking service, these are adventures, meeting like minded pups, exploring the countryside, with games, treats and lots of fun. Bella always comes home very happy and tired :)

 

I just wish I could go with them! 

We adopted our darling Diggi - a three legged Shepherd dog mix who is battling bone cancer - from the public shelter in Romania.  He was used to the company of many other dogs in the shelter and as we only had Diggi we were keen for him to socialise, ideally on group dog walks in our lovely countryside. Contented Dogs came highly recommended from several friends in the village and so we tried Diggi on a gold adventure. He was a little nervous at first, but came back so full of energy. We knew immediately that going out with Contented Dogs would be so good for him. 

 

As a rescue, Diggi came with limited recall. He didn’t understand toys or games either, but he knew how to sit. Contented Dogs had no problem at all in taking him along and giving him the extra attention he needed to be safe and to have fun. 

 

We have now settled into a routine where Diggi goes out twice a week on a Platinum adventure, and as soon as he hears the van pull up onto the driveway he runs to the front door! It’s been a joy to see how he has progressed, thanks to the love and patience of Contented Dogs. His recall is now fantastic, and he comfortably goes out off lead. Diggi can now spin, do paws up and play scent games - skills that 3 months ago he didn’t posses! And of course, he gets to play with other dogs and spend time in their company doing doggy things.  He’s made some firm friends, and even has his eye on a certain lady! We know this from the wonderful photos and videos we receive after each adventure. It’s a joy to be able to see Diggi enjoying himself. He always sleeps very well after his adventures! 

 

We have complete trust leaving Diggi in the care of Contented Dogs, not just because they are lovely people, with all the necessary qualifications, insurance and experience, it’s because we know that our pup is cared for as if he were their own. And he doesn’t just go on a walk, he learns new skills and his brain is stimulated as much as his body. What more could we ask for!

Well where do I start ..... I have been using Becky and Contented Dogs for nine years now, I knew instantly that she was the right lady to take care of our Sonny boy who we sadly lost three years ago, but even when I was going through the toughest time with our little man Becky was always there, not just for our little man but for us!

 

It was Becky that encouraged  and supported my husband in surprising me with our newest baby Freddy. Freddy has been out with the ladies of Contented Dogs since the moment he was able to have his puppy freedom. He absolutely loves his puppy play dates! On the occasion I am home when he is collected  I can see the pure excitement as the van pulls up and the ladies enter our home! He greets  them all with the biggest welcome and does not look back, he just wants in that van!

 

I cannot speak highly enough of Becky, Emma and Ruth they all treat my boy as one of their own and nothing is too much trouble for any of them!  The pictures we receive and the end of each walk always show how much my puppy and all the puppies are enjoying their walks.

 

More recently new games have been introduced on the walks and I see how much it has helped with Freddy I can now get the ball off Fred and he will retrieve and bring back for us to throw again!

 

Non dog people may think I am crazy but I truly see smiles when we tell Freddy Becky, Emma or Ruth are coming to collect him! The ladies at Contended Dogs are totally amazing and I can’t recommend them highly enough! My puppy is my whole world, he helped heal my very broken heart and he deserves the best and that is walks with his buddies and of course the ladies. Thanks Becky for everything

Fantastic! What a great job contented dogs do! My boys Alfie and Rex absolutely love Becky and get more and more excited each time they see her!

 

With such short notice Becky has helped us out with the boys and they took to her straight away! Extremely reliable and always on time and keeps us up to date on how they are getting on and even sends us great photos of them whilst out and about!

 

There’s only one or two people I’d let walk our dogs and Becky is definitely one of them! If your looking for a dog walker weather it be for a short period of time or a weekly thing look no further! 5* service!

I cannot recommend Becky and Contented Dogs highly enough. We have had a bad experience with a previous dog walker in Surrey so were anxious when moving to a new area nearly 3 years ago. Thank goodness we found Becky. She is so friendly, caring, professional and accomodating at short notice. Our 3 year old cockapoo absolutely adores Becky as I'm sure do all the other dogs she walks.

 

We have had to ask Becky to chop and change at short notice and nothing is too much trouble. We receive daily updates as to where they've been for the days walk as well as pictures of very happy furry customers on facebook.

We have been using Contented Dogs since 2011. Becky is a highly professional and competent dog walker. I don't like to use the phrase 'dog walker' because Becky is far, far more than that.

 

The expertise, knowledge and animal psychology she has is incredible. Becky takes our boy Murphy out whilst we are at work, i know that he's in excellent hands and not only does he get exercise but also recall training, tricks and searching for treats which keeps him mentally stimulated.

Have you ever wondered if you could trust your four legged family or best friends with anyone else other than you? Well, here is a story of how we have found the happy medium...

 

10 years ago we moved to Shipton Bellinger with our Springer Spaniel Angus who was 12 years old, we needed someone we could trust with our old boy. We found that person and it was Becky.

 

Fast forward and we lost Angus at 14 years old, he loved Becky as much as he loved us, we were all devastated and Karen and I decided we were not going to get another dog as it really broke our hearts. What we forgot was Becky was affected too and she is such a stalwart she supported us more than we ever could imagine, Becky didn’t make a fuss, but was truly devastated, she is absolutely dedicated to her ‘clients’.

 

To this day our first choice to look after our puppies is Becky and her team, there is an expectation that our boys will be looked after equally if not more than we do, and we know that happens - they tell us! When Becky arrives our dogs are so excited we know they are happy in her company.

 

Finally, if you are ever considering entrusting your fur babies with anyone, this is understated... Becky and her team are awesome, our boys love them, that is enough for us, tails wagging, bouncing around, they love Becky.

I cannot recommend Contented Dogs enough! Such a fantastically friendly, yet highly professional service.

I have a 1 year old Wire-haired Dachshund and he has had group walks from a young age. Although its difficult leaving him when I do, the walks have done wonders for his socialisation and training - and I am beyond grateful to Becky and her team for such amazing input.

 

I am filled with comfort and reassurance knowing he’s out having a great time whilst also knowing he is safe and lovingly looked after - but all words aside, my pups reaction to seeing Becky et al is the greatest testimony of all!
