Mental Stimulation

Not only do dogs need physical exercise but they also benefit from mental stimulation too. Interactive brain games tire your dog out, strengthen their bond with you and can increase their confidence. Try using snuffle mats or interactive food puzzle toys, which require your dog to work out how to get the treats. You can also make your own using cardboard boxes or empty toilet rolls with treats hidden inside, or simply hide their food around the house or garden and teach them to look for it, dogs love searching for their food. Or try teaching your dog new tricks at home, you might be surprised at how much you both enjoy it and it’s great mental stimulation for our pups.
