
Mental Stimulation
Not only do dogs need physical exercise but they also benefit from mental stimulation too. Interactive brain games tire your dog out, strengthen their bond with you and can increase their confidence. Try using snuffle mats or interactive food puzzle toys, which require your dog to work out how to get the treats. You can also make your own using cardboard boxes or empty toilet rolls with treats hidden inside, or simply hide their food around the house or garden and teach them

Home remedies
There are many items you may have around your home that you can use to treat minor ailments in your dog. For instance cold black tea is great for bathing sore eyes or small wounds that do not need medical treatment. Similarly sudacrem, aloe vera gel or coconut oil can be used on sore spots or scratches. For pain you can also give your dog paracetamol (never give to cats though) at a rate of 10mg per kg of body weight. Piriton can also be given for allergies or itching caused
