Snow gritters - take care...

The gritters are going to be out in force with this cold weather, so here's a little note to all dog owners: The grit that is spread to keep our roads safe can also get spread on the pavements. Salt is sometimes mixed with antifreeze and molasses to help it stick, and if this gets onto your dog's paws and licked off it can make them seriously ill. Take care after walking your dogs, wash and dry their feet on your return and keep them safe from harm.
